Creative Services + Photo Ops

I have extensive experience building and directing in-house Creative and Photo Studio teams, inclusive of art directors, designers, copywriters, photographers, merch coordinators, producers and creative ops—as well as external partners, such as models, stylists, and creative agencies.

I take pride in my ability to lead and mentor, and strive to exhibit transparency, authenticity, and empathy as I engage with my teams. My aim is to create a collaborative environment where communication and the sharing of diverse perspectives is encouraged, while challenging my teams to execute their best work through curiosity, best practices, and the upholding of established brand guidelines

A peek behind the scenes as one of our Haverdash models is being primped by our on-set stylists.

Fun fact: When I started my current CD role, I inherited an in-house photo team and studio in Long Island City. In October of that year, I was asked to relocate that studio to Columbus, OH and have it up and running by January 15th—just 12 weeks away! This entailed hiring an Ohio-based team that included a photo ops manager, a merchandise coordinator, and a product copywriter; developing a new workflow; building a relationship with a local studio; finding new photographers and local talent and crew; plus hiring 20+ local women of diverse sizes to try on, model, and write about our clothing for Gwynnie Bee’s First Fit review program.

We pulled it off! By the first week of January, my team and I were pressure testing the new workflow, talent, and studio—and we never missed a single product launch.
